Sometimes I wonder all kinds of fantastic things. I’ll start off with a doozy.
Like what if Trump gave Biden his personal Maga hat? The one he wears for rallies? And what if Biden said “Thank you.”? And wore it? And what if they said, “Hey, let’s run this one together. We both have some ideas.”? What if their wives set the game rules?
What if we wrote a worldwide apology to the world for what we did to the African American population over the last 200 plus years? What if together we erected new statues of events and people we never want to forget? What if we built a museum, like the holocaust museum, that everyone from all over the world can come to see and remember and vow to never repeat? (Free admission) What if we found a way to make reparations that everyone could agree on?
What if we wrote a worldwide apology to the Native Americans? And what if we said to them, “You can live anywhere you like, we’ll move.”
What if all the prisons were open and everyone was involved in re-educating those who were trapped in pathology? What if they became our best friends, and built a brotherhood and sisterhood of helpers so that we never need incarceration again?
What if a police officer never had to intercept violence, because there wasn’t any?
What if all the aborted babies came back from the dead and all the unwanted children of the world were wanted and every family took one to raise? What if there were just enough to go around so the government didn’t have to create a program?
What if all that new potential with its brain power, new ideas and love caused us to figure out how to keep the ozone from shrinking, the icecaps from melting and we found cures for everything we now suffer, Corona virus, cancer, HIV, Alzheimer’s, Autism, Mental Illness, birth defects and everything in between?
What if we got so good at being decent humans that going to outer space would actually change the universe for the better?
What if this inspires you to make your own list, and we all find a way to make all the things we wish for happen?
Sometimes I just wonder.
Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know. Job 42:3
