The density of a story is the weight it has due to the number of people who hold it and express it.
I’m feeling a tremendous amount of bottom-up energy in the idea that the best way to conquer ‘the virus’ is to push into the daylight a kind of risky courage.
The top-down fear story has little weight and density, although it has plenty of menace.
I’m less inclined to believe a narrative of fear. It is counterproductive. Find me a time where the world moved forward on the strength of fear and I’ll say it was courage in the face of fear that made the difference.
I’m not a doctor, scientist or a research expert. I’m a human with an opinion.
