What If?

What if the armchair scientists are right and we are just prolonging the natural life of the virus, spreading this whole thing out longer than a leftover ham for two people?

What if herd immunity is really our best friend?

What if we have destroyed precious time we could have spent with our friends and family unnecessarily and our elderly die of natural causes deprived of our company?

What if going outside in the springtime is tonic, medicine beyond all imagining?

What if not being able to shake hands, hug and hand someone a book or a gift destroys our soul beyond cure?

What if we panicked too much too soon and realized it too late?

Just wondering.

Because that’s all we can think about lately, in case you’ve been under a rock.
