Pandemic Fatigue

If you, like me, followed breathlessly the endless headlines for days you may be experiencing a traumatic fatigue. I’m no doctor but this cannot be good for your health!

I quarantined myself from twitter and other news. Guess what? I didn’t miss much I really needed.

Have the courage to step away. Most of that click bait only feeds your morbid fascination.

Get out. Take a walk. Hear the birds chirp. Pet a dog. Sing a happy or reverent song as you wash your hands.

Remember to care for your soul and keep it clean just as you would your hands.

You are valuable! We need you to not rot from the inside out. Others need your encouragement.

If you have faith in God, thank him for all your blessings. Chances are you can find many if you look. Focus on those.

Humans are amazingly resilient and adaptive. This will not break you, it will better you. Get on board. We’ve got a wonderful future ahead. Visualize the ways this could turn for the better.

We’ve focused on the disaster long enough–it’s time for a fresh vision.
