HOME: A Review

This book is indeed a ‘thin place’ as described in the Celtic tradition, a place where heaven, and the other side of life seems closer. At times it is difficult to look in that direction. Difficulties, tragedies, and troubles of all kinds tend to direct our gaze towards ‘something more’ and ‘something beyond’ this world.

Elyse Fitzpatrick calls upon a cloud of theologians, including NT Wright, John Calvin, CS Lewis, Mother Teresa, to name a few, to offer a humble, compassionate view of the longing we have for our eternal home. Complete with scriptural references and touchingly real anecdotes, her collection of thoughts is balm for the soul.

I received a complimentary copy of Home from Bethany House in return for my honest opinion.
