How It Feels to Finish A Book

First of all, finish is not really the right word. Of course in my heart of hearts I know the book is just getting started, even though I ‘started’ it 7 years ago.

But it is finished enough for beta readers. I certainly hope they did not get that name from the beta fish, which I’m told is tough as nails and nothing to tangle with.

I need some honest feedback because I’ve been looking this manuscript in the pores for years, and can’t see it objectively at all. In fact, I’m a bit sick of it and am beginning to think it’s no good at all. Which is why I need new eyes.

So, at the risk of having every dream dashed before my very eyes, I offer it to you, generous reader, for a look-see.

And in case you’re wondering, it feels a bit like standing on the top of the empire state building without the chain link.

Message me here or at and I’ll gladly send you over an ecopy.
